Trailer Review Actor In Law :: The Team of Nabeel Qureshi and Fahad Mustafa Nails It

Nabeel Qureshi is back with his second directorial venture after the success Na Maloom Afraad. The film, Actor In Law is all slated to release on Eid ul Azha. The trailer of the film was released on 28th June and it generated some buzz too. The film will feature Fahad Mustafa and the glamorous Mehwish Hayat in the lead roles. The film also stars Indian star Om Puri as father of Fahad Mustafa and Mr. Puri leaves a very strong mark in the trailer.

Coming towards the trailer, it manages to please in all the departments. It featured some very good comic scenes with Fahad Mustafa justifying his inclusion with some fine expressions and timing. The trailer also had some catchy dialogues and the Nabeel Qureshi flavour of comedy seems to be working really well here. Performances of the actors seemed very good with Fahad Mustafa and Om Puri both showing excellent screen presence together. Mehwish Hayat seemed charming but still could have done better with her performance. Saleem Mairaj was decent in his single scene in the trailer.

The trailer had less focus on the songs which is a rarity nowadays with the trailers of new age Pakistani comedy films. There are some beautiful and also some emotional scenes with both Fahad Mustafa and Om Puri leaving deep impressions. From the trailer it seems an all out Fahad Mustafa film and the character of Om Puri fits right in and gives the feel of a full role which will enhance the commercial appeal of the movie.

Few might argue that Na Maloom Afraad had a better and a more captivating trailer than the trailer of Actor In Law but the latter is undoubtedly the best of the year so far and this sets up some intriguing prospects on Eid ul Azha this year.
