Mere Paas Tum Ho is a cultural hit right now and it fills up Saturday evenings of every family. The drama which looked like a love triangle few weeks back is now completely focused on love, betrayal and forgiveness.
Nadeem Baig directorial is just one episode away from its conclusion and we expected a fast paced second last episode. However, Nadeem Baig continued the signature pace of the serial with wide angel shots, brilliant background music and giving every scene and character ample screen time to shine.
Every character had to take tough decisions in this episode. Humayun Saeed as Danish had to respond to the proposal of Hania played by Hira Mani. His portrayal of Danish has been exceptional from day one. He started as a middle class husband in the starting episodes but later he transformed into a mature rich man who hasn’t forgotten his roots and beliefs. Humayun has played his character calmly and dialogue delivery was spot on.
Hania had to decide about the proposal put forth by Rumi. She did take her time but she responded in a very respectable manner. Her performance was pretty good but its the character of Hania which makes us fall in love with her. She is a perfect female which every man can desire of and Danish had no reasons to say No to her.
Ayeza Khan has been stealing the show since last few episodes and she won us over in this one too. Its very tough to pull off a negative character yet developing an emotional attachment for it. The whole narrative of the character of Mehwish is spectacular. Ayeza gave splendid performance, the way she is trying to seek forgiveness, we really want her to atleast get to meet Danish.
The few scenes of Shahwar and his wife are giving a good life lesson that a man should never deceive his wife. But we could see anger gathering up inside Adnan Siddiqui. We wonder if he will be doing something unexpected in the last episode.
Like previous episodes, this episode also had sensational dialogues. Every dialogue outshone the previous one. Its very tough to choose the best dialogue from this episode however Danish’s line about Mehwish stood out.
“Bewafayi Uska Haq Tha, Haq Uss Ne Istemal Kar Liya Toh Ab Haq Na Jitaye”
The episode might seem a bit slow to some but this has been the case with the whole serial. Nadeem Baig has set a pace of his own and he has been sticking to it. We could easily sense a quietness before a storm in this episode. And we are now waiting for that storm in the next week’s last episode.
