Humayun Saeed, Ayeza Khan and Adnan Siddiqui starrer Meray Paas Tum Ho is winning our hearts with every episode. Drama is one of those rare serials whose every new episode is even better than the previous. In 18th episode, we saw heavy dosage of dialogues mingled with some very important development in the plot though story line in this episode was quite predictable and lacked the signature twist that we have been witnessing in the previous episodes.
Humayun Saeed as Danish was composed in this episode however his screen presence and impact was minimal. The episode was focused on Mehwish (Ayeza Khan) and her sufferings. Every actor performed extremely well but best performer of this episode was Ayeza Khan who brought the emotions out brilliantly despite playing a negative character.
Ayeza Khan stood out in every scene with marvelous performance and brought out her emotional side. Her scene with her son Rumi was spectacular with superb performances by both and excellent flow of dialogues. We are loving Sheez as Rumi, his character is pivotal to the story and often leaves us in awe with his impeccable attention to detail for a child of his age. The way he narrated his meeting with his mother in this episode was a testament to this fact.
The only scene between Mehwish and Shahwar was quite interesting as we got to see Adnan Siddiqui (Shahwar) flipping out for the first time. Adnan Siddique translated Shahwar frustration portrayed brilliantly. Savera Nadeem as Maham stood out in this episode with brilliant dialogue delivery and exceptional facial expressions. Hira Mani was convincing like previous episodes but now we look forward to seeing how she responds in coming episodes after knowing that Rumi wants her to marry Danish.
The pacing of the episode was crisp and spot on and Nadeem Baig captured frames exceptionally. Every scene was grand and suited the grandeur of the serial. Background score needs a special mention here as it was blended beautifully with the frames, story line and the visuals. We got to listen the reprise version of the OST which suited perfectly with the scene where Ayeza reaches her old apartment building.
Khalil Qamar is the real hero of this serial who has written every dialogue in an extraordinary manner. This episode had its fair share of dialogues as well but Maham’s dialogue to Mehwish was the best one.
“Tum Inti Khoobsurat Ho Keh Tumhain Dekh Kar Rashk Ata Hai Aur Tum Itni Badsurat Ho Keh Tumharay Muh Par Thooknay Ka Dil Krta Hai”.
Episode ended with us asking for more and now we can’t wait for the next episode to see how the fate of Shahwar is sealed? How Mehwish will face all the sufferings and will Danish welcome Mehwish back in her life and also what will be the response of Hania about Humayun Saeed.
