This decade has seen a huge turnaround at Pakistani box office as many films have created huge benchmarks. Last decade none of the film had managed to hit PKR 100 million mark in Pakistan however in this decade a total of 55 movies have already hit PKR 100 million mark. Frozen 2 and Jumanji: The Next Level are expected to join the list soon which will mean 57 movies hitting 100 million mark.

100 million club was first initiated by Shoaib Mansoor’s Bol in 2011. Since then 24 Pakistani films have breached this mark. Shah Rukh Khan leads with most number of movies in this club. Even though actor’s none of the 100 million club movie managed to become highest grossing film of all time but still his every film has managed to take bumper start. Shah Rukh Khan has five films in the club.

Total of 15 Indian films have managed to breach this mark and 5 are from Shah Rukh which means 33% of the total are from a single actor. Shah Rukh easily dominates Pakistani market among all the foreign actors. Furthermore, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have 3 films each in the club making 11 films from Khans in this club. Only four other Hindi films have managed to enter the club i.e. two films from Ranveer Singh whereas one each by Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgan.

Second spot in this club is taken by Pakistani blockbuster machine Humayun Saeed and Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson. Both the actors have four films each in 100 million club. If Jumanji: The Next Level hits PKR 100 million mark then Dwayen Johnson will also have 5 films in the club.

Shah Rukh Khan also holds the record of the most number of films opening with PKR 20+ million on opening day. Four out of the above five have managed to open with PKR 20+ million on opening day. Happy New Year had fell little shy of 20 million on opening day.
